Brian Barnett has designed Crazy for You Maine State Music Theatre; Die Fledermaus, La Boheme, Le Nozze di Figaro, and Un Ballo in Maschera Martina Arroyo Foundation; Dying City at the Barrow Group Theatre; The Play of Daniel for Gotham Early Music Scene at The Cloisters in NYC; Babes in Arms for Seven Angels Theatre; The Meaning of Life NYC Premier; Idina Menzel's I Stand at Barrington Stage Company; Orange NYC Premier; and Albany Berkshire Ballet's The Nutcracker tour; Prudence a new play by Barbara and Carleton Molette; Marisol and Personals, both for University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music; The Importance of Being Earnest and Waiting for Lefty for The University of Washington;The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Crazy for You, Guys and Dolls, and Fame, all at Shawnee Mission Theatre in the Park. He previously has worked on a variety of trade shows, corporate meetings, and events; including Ernst and Young's Entrepreneur of the Year awards (Various Locales), National PTA, Remax International (Las Vegas), Remax Regional (Various Locales) Kentucky Bourbon Festival, Cincinnati Tall Stacks,"Fourth of July From the Heartland" for PBS, and Solomon Software. Brian has assisted lighting designers at Palm Beach Opera, Papermill Playhouse, Indianapolis Opera, Barrington Stage Company, Manhattan School of Music, Chautauqua Opera, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Michigan Opera Theatre, The Berkshire Theatre Festival, Cleveland Opera, Mannes School of Music in NYC, Berkshire Opera, The Pan Asian Repertory Theatre in NYC, The Cincinnati Ballet, and The Cincinnati Symphony. He also works as a draftsman for architectural lighting design for PrecisionLD of Seattle. Brian has his BFA from the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music, which he would recommend to any driven individual searching for a professional training program.
